Large Size Bras for Large Busted Women

There are many joys associated with becoming a new mother. We usually think of those joys in terms of the precious little baby, but sometimes the happiness arises out of mommy's new body. Even though my husband is ecstatic about my swelled up bosom, I am having a great deal of trouble finding large size bras that fit me correctly.

Everything to do with clothing or fashion is easier when you're a small woman. Bras that are made for those fortunate women who fit into a perfect B-cup are easy to find. There are no struggles and you can pretty much buy your bra right off the shelf without a second thought. I have never been among the happy B-cup group.

Trouble Free Small Busts

Exercise and fitness routines are also much easier when you are smaller in the bust. Smaller busted women can actually wear a jogging bra instead of trying to find a harness to hold your large bust in place while taking part in such exercises like running in particular.

Some women who wear smaller sizes wish they had a bigger bust, but none of those women have ever had to buy large size bras. I used to wear a healthy C-cup. Though not overwhelmingly big, I found that even these bras posed a significant challenge. A C-cup in one bra is not a C-cup in another bra. In fact, I have come home with bras that didn't cover nearly as much flesh as they should. Other times I have come home with a large size bra that made my bust disappear.

It only got worse after I got pregnant. During the pregnancy, I put on a lot of weight. Most of the weight wound up in my breasts. My husband was silently enjoying how well endowed his wife had become while I was desperately shopping for large size bras that could accommodate my new voluptuous chest. This was a daunting task that I would never want to repeat.

I spent hours and hours shopping for the large size bras. I made jokes as I asked the saleswomen about the sudden jump from a C-minus to a DD-plus. There were a few laughs, but very little help. One saleswoman suggested that the whole process is one of trial and error. This whole trial and error process could be very expensive as I went through bras galore.

Well, it has been over a year since our little one arrived and I have to say that I'm still looking for good fitting large size bras. Fortunately, I now only need a regular D-cup. My husband is still clicking his heels and my daughter is well-fed. I, on the other hand, am still shopping.

However, since the birth of her child she has not been enjoying the bra-shopping experience as much as she used to. She realizes that one day her bust will return to normal proportions and she anxiously awaits that day.
